The conference is in Alder Auditorium at 1310 NE 40th St, just west of the main UW Campus.

Parking and Transportation
The most convenient parking is in the UW's Central Plaza Garage at the corner of 15th Ave NE and NE 41st Street. The rate is $15/day. There are many buses that run to the UW campus. Link Light Rail will drop you off at Husky Stadium. From there it's a 10 minute walk to Alder Auditorium.

WiFi Access during Conference
Choose the "University of Washington" wifi network in your device wifi settings. This should bring up a UW Login page. Enter the info below. If you don't see the Login page when you choose the UW wifi network, go to a website, such as Seattletimes.com, and you should then be prompted for the login information.

UW IT wireless access policy
  • For Wireless Access Only - This UW NetID may only be used for access to the UW's wireless networks.
  • Proper Use - Using UW Wireless to send spam, illegally trade files, or spread viruses will result in restriction of UW network privileges. Follow the UW's Ethics in Computer and Network Use, which can be found here.
  • Abuse Will Result in Cancellation of This UW NetID - If this UW NetID is used improperly it may be cancelled, disabling wireless access for everyone using it.
  •  Infected Computers May Be Restricted - If an individual's computer is infected with a virus or if it is not fully patched, their access to the UW's Wireless Network my be restricted to protect others.

District Market in Alder Hall - Corner of University Way NE and NE Campus Parkway. Fresh produce, baked goods, a full-service deli with chef-prepared side dishes, salads and entrées. Includes Husky Grind, a full café with espresso and desserts.

Cultivate in Elm Hall – Sit-down restaurant across the street from symposium. Full service menu. Visa & Mastercard only. No cash.

Schultzy’s – 4114 University Way NE
Excellent house-made sausages (Brats, Kielbasa, etc), salads, sandwiches.

Café Solstice – 4116 University Way NE
Coffee house with excellent espresso drinks, house-made pastries, and sandwiches.

North of Schultzy’s and Solstice within 3 blocks of Alder Auditorium there are a multitude of restaurants on both sides of The Ave including Big Time Brewery and Pub, Jimmy Johns, Starbucks, Sizzle and Crunch, B&B Teriyaki, Subway, Mod Pizza, and Chipotle as well as various Thai, Indian, Pho, Teriyaki and other cafes and restaurants

Conference Evaluation
A link will be provided for the conference evaluation. It will be available at the end of the conference on Saturday, May 18th and will be available until May 30th. Please take a few minutes to complete the evaluation following the conference. Your feedback helps us plan for our next conference and make changes where needed.
